Tender HQ is operated by Pioneer Plumbing Co Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal information collected through the Service. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, login credentials): to create and secure your account. Basis: contract.
• Business details (business name, ABN, licences, insurance, logo, contact details): to show on your quotes and tenders. Basis: contract.
• Your content (site plans, take-offs, prices, tenders, client details, photos, assistant messages): to provide the Service. Basis: contract.
• Support messages: to help you. Basis: contract and legitimate interests.
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, device identifiers, activity logs): for security, fraud prevention and product improvement. Basis: legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

• Service providers for hosting, storage, AI processing and support tooling, who act on our instructions.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles the sale of your subscription, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers, such as our legal and accounting advisers.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.
• Builders and clients you choose to share a tender with.

Some providers may store data outside Australia. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a comparable standard.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as we need it for legal, tax or accounting reasons. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to us. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). If you're in the UK or EEA, you have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and private storage for your files.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
